The Mpuma-Koloni Bee Association was established with a simple but powerful vision: ensure that every beekeeper in the Eastern Cape — regardless of their scale or resources — has the tools, knowledge, and market access to thrive.
We operate across the OR Tambo District and have grown to serve beekeepers throughout the entire Eastern Cape province. Our 400+ members represent a cross-section of South Africa's beekeeping community: subsistence farmers, rural cooperatives, and commercial honey producers united under one banner.
As a proud member of SABIO — the South African Bee Industry Organisation — we connect our community to a national network with roots tracing back to 1907. This heritage gives our members standards, credibility, and access that would otherwise be out of reach.
